November, 2005. That’s when it all started.

That was the day I became a home business website owner.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the first day I spent looking for a way to make money online. I’d been bouncing around for two years since my first exposure to Site Build It, floundering.

Back in 2005, I became a full-fledged SBI site owner.

The first thing that really hit me about the whole process was just how much I had to learn. I’m going to be honest with you. It was a little intimidating. I was beginning to understand why most of the people (around 95%, in fact) who try to make money online fail or surrender.

This time, though, I didn’t let those worries get the best of me. I kept plugging along. I followed the game plan. Site Build It provided me with a blueprint and I used it.

About a month later, my site went live. I was a website business owner. And I was thrilled!

In hindsight, it seems almost silly. I was so excited that I had a site up and running. I felt like such a success before I even saw my first dollar. The doubts I had about my ability to get the ball rolling just melted away. I did it. Me. John Adams. I had a business of my own!

Of course, having that site up and running was just the beginning. It was time to start driving traffic and adding content to it. I had keywords to research. I needed to find products to promote...

Some of that excitement wore off momentarily. It came back in a hurry, though, when I realized that following the plan was producing real, measurable results.

That’s how it’s all started. A guy who’d been goofing around online, unable to find the right way to make money for two solid years, was up and running.

Here’s what happened two years later… After sticking to the plan and developing new skills, I was experiencing genuine success.

Honest-HomeBusiness.com was my first SBI website. It competes in one of the most competitive niches imaginable. By 2007, my Site Build It experience had me ranked in the top 2% of all websites.

I want to repeat that. I went from ABSOLUTELY NO WEBSITE to having a site in the TOP 2%.

Look, I went into this with no special skills. My past experiences had nothing to do with making money on the Internet. I was a small-timer. No skills. No money. No clue.

Within two years of getting started, I owned and operated websites across a variety of niches. My traffic level was healthy and growing. If you would’ve asked me how my business was doing in 2007, I wouldn’t have hesitated to tell you, “I’m doing bloody marvelous!”

Now, I want to bring you up to speed. I have a few more years of this under my belt. Things have changed. They’re better than ever.

Those skills I learned by following the Site Build It blueprint have helped me to continue to expand and develop my online business. Every day, things just seem to get bigger and more exciting. Every time I start a new site, it seems to take me less time and tends to produce better results.
